Registering and creating a password creates a security record to assure your bag is secured during our service, but you do not need to purchase a BagSafe℠ Tag. You have the option to purchase a personal BagSafe℠ Tag, which secures your bag(s) anywhere you travel for one year, with annual renewals available. Alternatively our security is made available for the day of your service for a nominal fee.
Both! For Carry-On bags, come straight to the BagHop drop off area. For Checked bags, retrieve your bag from the baggage claim carousel first, and then drop it off at the BagHop drop off area.
Both! BagHop is designed to serve any and all types of travelers. Museums and other venues do not typically allow luggage or large bags on their premises and do not provide storage. For business travelers in the Washington, DC area, the Pentagon and many Federal offices do not permit luggage or large bags on their premises. And, of course, restaurant coatrooms and office reception closets are not secure or supervised. BagHop helps all travelers avoid these hassles and eliminates the extra trip to the hotel to drop bags off first, too.
When your luggage is delivered to your designated hotel, we get a claim check, take a picture of your bag and the claim check, and send it to you by text message.
AT THE AIRPORT: You can register or book an order right at the airport. Just go to the BagHop drop-off area where our on-site team will assist you. BagHop accepts luggage at Reagan National Airport Monday – Friday, beginning at 7:30AM and returning bags until 8PM (except Federal Holidays).
ONLINE: To reserve in advance online, register at baghop.net or log in to your existing account to book a service and expedite your drop-off.
No. Only Day storage is currently available Monday – Friday from 7:30AM to 8PM (except Federal Holidays). If you are staying overnight, your luggage will be at your hotel.
If you have a BagSafe℠ Tag and your bag is lost, just contact BagHop at firstname.lastname@example.org. Provide us your lost bag claim number, the BagSafe℠ Tag number linked to your lost bag, the name of the passenger that checked the bag, and the flight you were on when your bag went missing. We’ll take it from there to try to help you locate and recover your lost bag.
Yes! Your BagHop membership is good at every airport we serve to reserve Day Storage or Delivery Services online as well as at the airport without needing to re-register. BagHop is coming to more airports soon! So keep checking for additional locations. When you purchase a BagSafe℠ Tag, it works immediately, everywhere you travel, anywhere in the world, all the time for a full year. Alternatively, you can just use BagSafe℠ security for the day of your order for a nominal fee.
Like airlines, each piece of luggage is insured up to $500.
